Graphic and Web Design

During my studies at Plymouth University, I worked part-time as a freelance designer. Projects I have worked on include exhibition leaflets and posters for artists, retouching their artwork and photography.

I have designed the 2016 poster for Centrespace Galley, products for Bristol Fine Art, and the Brand Identity for a French Language Tutor. Having designed and published several WordPress websites, I have a good knowledge of HTML, CSS and understand how JavaScript and PHP work.

Art Materials and Canvas Making

Whilst studying Graphic Design with Typography at Plymouth University, I worked part-time at Bristol Fine Art. I applied my knowledge and experience in art to assist and advise fellow artists and customers. It is here where I provided a service making artist canvases through the shop, a craft requiring good hands-on skill and technical know-how.

I learnt so much about colour theory, painting techniques, pigments, paper and inks relevant to both art and design, and it has contributed to my ability to come up with innovative design solutions.

Print and Colour

I worked at a print shop in Bath, where I enjoy learning about printing and binding machinery with practical knowledge about design for print.

As a graphic designer here, I managed work for existing clients, and welcomed new walk-in customers. Every day I would be engaged with a variety of projects ranging from branding, editorial to packaging and print.
